Bajaj Allianz Health Guard (Platinum)
The Bajaj Allianz Health Guard (Platinum) Plan provides comprehensive coverage. This plan covers a wide range of hospitalisation costs. Pre-hospitalisation expenses are taken care of for up to 60 days before you're admitted, while post-hospitalisation costs are covered for up to 90 days after discharge, all up to the sum insured. In addition, the policy includes coverage for all day care treatments, with a range of up to 399 treatments. It also covers organ donation procedures and modern treatments, all up to the sum insured. It does not cover any non-medical expenses and domiciliary treatment.
With the Bajaj Allianz Health Guard (Platinum) Plan, you can opt for any room without worrying about room rent limits, and there's also no cap on ICU rent or a deductible to consider. However, if you prefer, you can choose an optional copayment of either 10% or 20%, giving you control over your contribution. The plan doesn’t have any restrictions on common medical treatments or surgeries, including joint replacements, which are covered up to the sum insured. Cataract treatments are covered up to 20% of the sum insured per eye, capped at Rs. 1 lakh.
It’s important to be aware of the waiting periods: pre-existing diseases have a waiting period of 36 months, while specific diseases are subject to a waiting period of 24 months, with some conditions extending to 36 months.

As part of the Niva Bupa ReAssure 2.0 (Platinum+) Plan, hospitalisation expenses as well as pre and post-hospitalisation expenses are covered. Pre-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 60 days before hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation expenses are covered for 180 days after discharge, both up to the sum insured. Additionally, the plan covers all day care treatments, domiciliary treatments, inpatient organ donor expenses, and modern treatments (except robotic surgeries) up to the sum insured. It also covers consumables up to the sum insured, if you opt for an add-on. The Niva Bupa ReAssure 2.0 (Platinum+) Plan comes with no room rent limits and ICU rent limits. There are no financial sub-limits on common treatments or surgeries like cataract treatments, joint replacement surgeries, etc., and the plan doesn’t come with any copays either. However, there is an optional deductible of Rs 20,000/Rs 30,000/Rs 50,000/Rs 1,00,000. The Niva Bupa ReAssure 2.0 (Platinum+) Plan has a waiting period of 36 months for pre-existing diseases and a waiting period of 24 months for specific diseases.
