Why was this study done?
Since the privatisation of health insurance 20 years back, the industry has come along way, creating helpful products catering to a variety of individual and family health insurance needs. As innovation continues full-steam, it is important to take a pause, and understand the nature and extent of the challenges customers face and convert every such challenge into an opportunity to improve consumer delight.
It is in this direction, that this study - India Health Insurance XP Survey - 2020 - was done by Beshak.org, with Strategic Caravan as an implementation partner. As a consumer sentiment study, it attempts not only to get quantitative insights and data, but also to capture the emotional impact on the family throughout the health insurance claims journey.
